This heating system upgrade featured the installation of energy-efficient Air Source Heat Pumps. All associated pipework was insulated using high-performance phenolic foam and enclosed in PIB (Polyisobutylene) sheeting for long-term protection. To safeguard against freezing conditions, the external condensate pipework was electrically trace heated prior to insulation.
